Hashtag tips – use a variety of hashtags:
Ok, now you know the best Instagram hashtags for blogging, it’s now time to utilise this information and use it to your advantage! The biggest tip I can give you guys is to ensure you use different hashtags for each picture. This will enable you to reach as many different Instagram accounts as possible, meaning you will get more followers and interactions from different people! There’s no point repeatedly showing the same Instagram accounts your photos/content, because it won’t result in any more followers than you already have. I’d suggest saving different groups of hashtags in the notes section on your phone so you can copy and paste them, mixing them up every once and a while on each different photo.

Don’t use irrelevant hashtags that don’t relate to your photo:
If you really want to figure out the best Instagram hashtags for blogging that will increase your followers and engagement, I’d also suggest never using a hashtag that doesn’t relate to your photo! For example, if your photo is a makeup related shot, I wouldn’t use a fashion hashtag. This is purely because people searching the hashtag will see your photo isn’t an outfit shot and will be unlikely to click that, because they came to that hashtag for fashion content rather than makeup! You need to ensure you’re using relevant hashtags so you can relate to the targeted audience within your niche.
Switch up your content regularly:
That being said, it’s totally okay to switch up for your content regularly! For example, I have a mixture of mental health, makeup, fashion, lifestyle and student/graduate content on my Instagram feed as my blog niche is so varied anyway. This means I can use different related hashtags on each post so I’m sharing my profile with makeup lovers, mental health advocates, fashion lovers and students and graduates. Using your platform to reach a variety of different niches/audiences is a great way to boost your followers quickly, especially when you’re just beginning to learn how to use Instagram hashtags and just figuring out the best Instagram hashtags for blogging.
ONLY do this if it’s genuine:
Obviously only do this if it’s genuine though… Don’t post about mental health if you don’t actually care about mental health (same with fashion, makeup etc) Never force yourself to be involved in a niche you don’t enjoy or you won’t get the reaction you want. People can tell through photos and captions if you genuinely believe in and enjoy what you’re promoting/talking about, so only share things you genuinely love and enjoy. Utilising the best Instagram hashtags for blogging only works correctly if you do it properly and don’t take advantage of your platform.
Use an even variety of small and big hashtags:
Another important tip that has helped me gain a lot more followers and a large reach through hashtags on my post is to use a range of the best Instagram hashtags for blogging, some big and some small. When you type a hashtag in your caption, it will come up and tell you how many posts there are that have been shared to that hashtag. It’s a good idea to use some hashtags that are very popular with a lot of posts shared to them as it means a lot of people are viewing that hashtag and may therefore see your picture.
However, using smaller hashtags is a good idea too as it gives your photo a better chance of being seen by people who view the hashtag as it isn’t being clouded by thousands of other photos under that hashtag! This gives people more of a chance to click your photo, like/comment and follow you. Therefore, I’d suggest using an even mixture of big and small hashtags on your photos!

So, there we have it! These are, from what I’ve found when using them, the best Instagram hashtags for blogging to use in order to grow your Instagram and gain more followers and engagement. I hope these hashtags tips work for you and if you have any more tips yourself, please do let me know down in the comments!

I have over 5k followers on Instagram and have tried so many different hashtag methods and never get more than 10 impressions. It’s so disheartening.
I have tried some of these before and they didn’t work for me but I’m going to mix them up and try groups of these ones.
Thank you!
