Hi guys! I’ve written about my winter skin care routine recently but I haven’t written about my cruelty free hair care routine in a super long time, so I thought it would be a good idea to let you guys in on a few secrets to luscious, long, shiny hair (is it big headed to say that about my own hair?…)
I test out quite a few hair and beauty products regularly, but this is going to be a list of my ride or dies. Granted, I’ve only used the shampoo and conditioner once, so this is kind of a review for that as well. However, trust me, I already know I’ll be using them again! So, without further ado, here’s my cruelty free hair care routine.

Hairburst shampoo and conditioner*
I’ve only used this shampoo and conditioner once so this is also kind of a first impressions review. I always shampoo twice (the first one cleanses the scalp and the second one cleans it) but I already know I won’t be running out any time soon as the bottles are 350ml and they’re designed so it doesn’t come out in excess when you squeeze the product out.
Of course I can’t comment on whether it’s made my hair longer yet (it’ll likely take a few months to see the difference, which is when I’ll write an in depth review about the product) but the smell it left on my hair is to die for. It includes avocado and coconut (very healthy ingredients!) and it leaves your hair smelling extremely coconuty and beautiful. It’s also paraben and silicone free which is a huge plus.
I can’t wait to try this product out more and let you guys know what I think and if I notice any substantial hair growth!

Sukin hair mask*
I’ve used this hair mask for about a month now and I use it once a week. It’s specifically for dyed hair to prevent damage and leave it shiny and soft. I know miracle products don’t exist, but this is pretty close! I actually notice my copper hair looking more vibrant and fresh after I’ve used this hair mask, even though my hair is in desperate need of a refresh.
It also leaves my hair super soft and sleek, which is great for me as I tend to have quite thick and frizzy hair sometimes if I don’t use the correct products for my hair type. I’d 100% recommend this product, especially since it’s paraben free so nothing nasty is going on your hair.
The Inkey List hyaluronic acid treatment*
This is my fave part of my cruelty free hair care routine! I’ve been using this treatment for around a month (I wash my hair 1-2 times a week). I use it on wet hair (if you put hyaluronic acid on dry skin or hair it won’t really do much.) It makes my hair feel super soft and calms it down as it prevents frizz. My hair also appears straighter and more volumous due to the prevention of frizz.
This is the only hair treatment that I’ve found genuinely prevents frizz and truly hydrates my hair. At £7.88, it’s a bargain and I’d fully recommend it. I will be buying another one when mine eventually runs out!

Aussie hair oil*
I’ve used all sorts of hair oils throughout my life but this Aussie one has to be my favourite. It smells gorgeous and it leaves my hair super hydrated and shiny. I only put it on my mids and ends so it doesn’t make my scalp or the top of my hair greasy. If you’re looking for a new hair oil as you’re not a fan of the one you’re using, I’d 100% recommend this one!

So, there we have it! It’s nothing too fancy, but this is my cruelty free hair care routine! I think I’ve almost got it down to a T, but I would love a good scalp product to add to my routine so please let me know a good one down in the products and also let me know your fave hair product too! I’d love to know.
